Be it the iron horse or the flames of the iron mill,
The reward and frequent failure goes to those who risk.
Girded by our own self-renewing optimism
Forged in a time of uncertainty
Those who risked are rewarded
If not with riches, with the sense of knowing.
Few get in the ring.
The fight is rarely known.
But for those who know, the fight is enough.
While victory is clear validation,
The challenge is sufficient.
And setback is simply part of the journey.
Get in the ring.
Fight through the noise
Accept failure
Reject the idea that showing up is sufficient
For it is not.
History is a cruel purveyor of truth.
Minutes and even years mislead
So live and risk with abandon
